Daniela, Matteo and Michele would be honoured to welcome you, and are at your complete disposal to make your stay as comfortable as possible and to offer you the best in local Mugello and Tuscan cuisine.
Agriturismo also offers you the possibility to invite guests (up to 30) who, with prior reservations, will be able to lunch or dine with us and enjoy our typical Mugello and Tuscan dishes.

 Exploring traditional Tuscan dishes and preparing genuine, wholesome meals guides us in the choice of our ingredients. Our dishes are made from fresh, home grown products, along with products from farms in the territory. Our hospitality is characterized by the use of seasonal products and home made foods.

Dinner at the court of Lorenzo “the Magnificent”

The Medici family has its roots in Mugello, and the beauty of this uncontaminated countryside where the ancient past and the present come together so gracefully can still exert a strong fascination on the modern traveller.

In the hopes of recreating the tastes and dishes from that distant past, with the collaboration of historians and gastronomists, we have conducted an in-depth study of the recipes from that period and have gone on to adopt them, modernized and revisited, using the ingredients and cooking methods of those simple but intriguing recipes.

So as not to lose this historical wealth, our Agriturismo has decided, on special occasions or upon request, to present our guests with meals offering dishes inspire by 14th century recipes.

Depending on the period and the availability of the ingredients, we are proud to offer the Torta di aglio (garlic cake) or the the Torta di zucca (pumpkin cake) as starters, first courses with wild game sauces, a delicate Pollo al finocchio (chicken and fennel), or a heartier Tredura (a bacon, leek, saffron, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt delight), as well as the original Torta in balconata (layer cake), and Pinocchiati (dry biscuits with pine nuts).

Our Agriturismo offers its guests a delightful relaxing holiday as well as a historical-gastronomic experience that is different from all the rest.
